{"id":992,"date":"2015-04-09T15:51:03","date_gmt":"2015-04-09T15:51:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/surgeryandcancer\/?p=992"},"modified":"2015-04-10T11:25:11","modified_gmt":"2015-04-10T11:25:11","slug":"phenomics-and-phenomic-networks-symposium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/surgeryandcancer\/2015\/04\/09\/phenomics-and-phenomic-networks-symposium\/","title":{"rendered":"Phenomics and Phenomic Networks Symposium"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/surgeryandcancer\/files\/2015\/04\/logo.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"350\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1015\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/surgeryandcancer\/files\/2015\/04\/logo.png\" alt=\"logo\" \/><\/a>The Division of Computational and Systems Medicine are hosting a one-day symposium under the title of \u201cPhenomics and Phenomic Networks\u201d to be held on Thursday 30th April 2015 (10.30 am \u2013 5.00 pm).<\/p>\n<p>Purpose: To bring together like-minded individuals to facilitate deeper integration of phenomics into the wider \u2018omics community, and develop a Phenomic Network in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>We are delighted that leaders of various \u2018omics centres\/units in the UK have agreed to talk at this event, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prof Dame Carol Robinson (University of Oxford)<\/li>\n<li>Prof Tony Whetton (University of Manchester)<\/li>\n<li>Dr Christoph Steinbeck (European Bioinformatics Institute)<\/li>\n<li>Prof Mark Viant (University of Birmingham)<\/li>\n<li>Dr Julian Griffin (University of Cambridge)<\/li>\n<li>Prof Jeremy Nicholson (Imperial College London)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Attendance to the symposium will be free of charge but places are limited so will be allocated on a first-come basis.
