{"id":714,"date":"2015-05-23T19:11:17","date_gmt":"2015-05-23T19:11:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/studentblogs\/mala13\/?p=356"},"modified":"2015-05-23T19:11:17","modified_gmt":"2015-05-23T19:11:17","slug":"post-second-year-medicine-exams-mindset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/student-blogs\/2015\/05\/23\/post-second-year-medicine-exams-mindset\/","title":{"rendered":"Post Second Year Medicine Exams Mindset"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At first when I finished exams I was like&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/media1.giphy.com\/media\/YTbZzCkRQCEJa\/giphy.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And days and nights would merge into this&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/rsciTJOwICJfq\/giphy.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And this&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.mamamia.com.au\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Busy-Doing-Nothing.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And when my parents would ask me what useful stuff I was doing with my life I&#8217;d just be like..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/xotheknot.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/03\/doing-nothing-again-tumblr.gif?w=652\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But then the days passed, 3rd term work started and my money began to disappear&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/tlPi4rA.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But that didn&#8217;t bother us much and we continued to just&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/38.media.tumblr.com\/tumblr_mbt0atujBp1qz8x31o1_400.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/media.tumblr.com\/4d0605dbec4ee5bce06e56c22df91712\/tumblr_inline_mszepos8Ts1qz4rgp.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Until, really, we had no money&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/rack.0.mshcdn.com\/media\/ZgkyMDEzLzA5LzEyLzAxL3Bva2Vtb25mb29kLmQ4ZjdiLmdpZgpwCXRodW1iCTg1MHg4NTA-CmUJanBn\/96eef96b\/1c3\/pokemon-food.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and we ran out of cheap things to do..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/qh14c.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and we actually had tutorials and practicals to prepare for&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theprospect.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/gilmore.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And having so much free time we all expected to be..<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/s-ak.buzzfed.com\/static\/imagebuzz\/web04\/2011\/3\/14\/10\/anigif_fun-fun-fun-29834-1300112565-20.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But its actually now just back to the classical medical student now we have an exam in 4 weeks and a report due&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/mrwgifs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/I-Understand-Nothing-Steve-Carell-On-The-Office.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And I just sit there in lectures like&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/media3.giphy.com\/media\/k2oAXEvazCJfG\/200_s.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sigh.
