I have compiled the advice together and hopefully you will be helped as much as I was. <strong>Note: Most of this advice is generally unhelpful.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u201cFear not young freshers, it only gets worse. Brave through exams and be prepared for worse in years to come\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff\">\u201cDon\u2019t work, freshers!!! You can\u2019t fail first year\u2026well\u2026okay you can. Maybe do some work&#8230;okay work hard.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966\">\u201cI had 3 breakdowns over Easter of first year. I cried to my parents and was convinced that I didn\u2019t deserve to do medicine. I passed\u2026I try not to cry now during Easter. But trust, all us boys do cry sometimes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">\u201cFIRST YEAR EXAMS? OMG I DID NO REVISION FOR THEM!!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366\">\u201cWhy are you stressing, Mala? Don\u2019t worry, I saw May\/June exams as a trial run for the August ones [Resits]. Those are the ones you need to do well in\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff\">\u201c\u2026.how do you do well? You don\u2019t. You pass with passion.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff\">\u201cI got one or two percent above a pass in everything\u2026and had a wicked easter. Enjoy life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #99cc00\">\u201cMCD is broken up into 8 sections: Easy, easy, easy, easy, easy, easy, METABOLISM, easy. You know what to revise.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u201cAim low. Take the pressure off yourself because stressing yourself out it the fastest route to failing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008080\">\u201cRevise with your friends. You will remember more when you discuss what you have learnt. Just don\u2019t be one of those people that tell the year group how clever they are on the facebook group, it\u2019s so annoying.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">\u201cNOTEBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399\">\u201cBe sober in the exam, it helps you to focus\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff99cc\">\u201cHA! I bet you wished you went to muslim medic tutorials now\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966\">\u201cIf in doubt, the answer will probably be something to do with diabetes, infection or cancer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399\">\u201cTake regular breaks during revision. I took a week off after every couple of days of revising.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff\">\u201cDo MCD now, focus hard on it. Then after MCD Exam start to read over LSS and LCRS properly. Then start over on MCD again.
