He was previously also Head of the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology within the School of Public Health, which includes the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analytics. He also continues as Director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Institute for Disease and Emergency Analytics.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">He sits on a number of committees advising the UK and overseas governments and the World Health Organisation.
