Professor Allen will be working closely with Professor Veloso over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition into the role.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Reporting to the Provost, as the Interim Dean Professor Allen will be a member of the University Management Board. He will be responsible for leading the Business School, including promoting their profile internationally and fostering excellence in research and education.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Professor Allen is currently Professor of Finance and Economics and Director of the Brevan Howard Centre<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"none\">at the Business School, and has held these positions since July 2014 when he joined the College. He also holds the role of Vice-Dean (Research and Faculty) for the Business School, a role which he will be stepping down from before taking up the Interim Dean role.
