{"id":132,"date":"2014-11-07T15:15:58","date_gmt":"2014-11-07T15:15:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/rtsic\/?p=132"},"modified":"2014-11-07T15:40:45","modified_gmt":"2014-11-07T15:40:45","slug":"team-bruise-international-finalists-in-the-dyson-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/rtsic\/2014\/11\/07\/team-bruise-international-finalists-in-the-dyson-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Team BRUISE International finalists in the Dyson Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Everyone at the Rio Tinto Sports Innovation Challenge is\u00a0excited to see that a team of Innovation Design Engineering \u00a0and Global Innovation Design students are International Runners-Up in this years <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jamesdysonaward.org\/?cookies=true\">Dyson Awards<\/a> with their RTSIC project <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teambruise.com\/\">BRUISE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This innovative concept uses technology developed by Fujifilm, for the printing and moulding industries, to demonstrate when a paraplegic athlete has received an impact which may have caused internal damage.<\/p>\n<p>Finishing as International Runners-Up rounds-up an amazing year for the team who have demonstrated their project at a Bike Experience Day with Talan Skeels-Piggins.
