<\/a>Image \u00a9\u00a0Thomas Angus \/ Imperial College London\u00a0 [Click Image to expand]<\/span><\/p>\nFor a brief period on Wednesday morning I escaped the office to snap around the campus, the Queens Lawn was an especially hazardous place to be.<\/p>\n
Back up to the top of campus, the “beast from the east” storm that left behind the snow can be seen retreating on the right of the frame. This is a very large multi-frame composite image. Here’s looking at you, one of the lions at the bottom of the Queens tower keeps an eye on a photographer on the Queens Lawn.<\/p>\n Students from Hong Kong enjoy the picturesque winter wonderland campus that the deluge left behind.<\/p>\n We waited a long time for snow, and when it came, boy did it come.<\/p>\n No (snow) ball games. Prince’s Garden looking gorgeous, if not rather perilous with all the errant illegal snowballs.
