I’d quite like to live in space shed man’s world, it looks fun.<\/p>\n Exhibition Road was full of Festival crowns…<\/p>\n Queen Victoria back for one day only, to check that the Exhibition was indeed great.<\/p>\n The free ice lolly man outside the V&A, right place, right time.<\/p>\n A future astronaut suits up.<\/p>\n Hot and busy, Exhibition Road comes to life.<\/p>\n Simple tasks taking on new life with virtual reality fly vision.<\/p>\n Keeping everyone stocked up with Festival crowns.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Alumni Weekend was in full swing.<\/p>\n Right outside, solar powered bugs were zipping all over.<\/p>\n President Alice Gast wears the robot suit to help Robot DE NIRO entertain curious minds.<\/p>\n It’s a pretty hot day for a deep sea suit at the Nature Zone, but this little fellow didn’t mind one bit.<\/p>\n The dappled light through the trees of Prince’s Gardens offered a lovely, and cooler, spot to sit down.<\/p>\n Elsewhere in Prince’s Gardens minds were busy in the Curiosity Zone<\/p>\n Wiping out bacteria takes real concentration in the Infection Zone.<\/p>\n The giant Imperial letters provide a nice location for a proud father and daughter photo.<\/p>\n You have to wonder what regular passers by made of the whole thing!<\/p>\n A future scientist is born.<\/p>\n Music performances were a regular feature of the weekend all around Exhibition Road.<\/p>\n Taking climate change seriously, these youngsters light up the city with wind power in the Greener Futures Zone.<\/p>\n Jesse from the Social Media team live reporting from the event, the video he is recording in this picture can be seen on Imperial’s Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Robot Zone and the emotion-mimicking robot that never ceases to fascinate everyone.<\/p>\n Sharing the wonder.<\/p>\n An incredible end to the weekend and a rammed Exhibition Road.<\/p>\n Packing down at the end of the day and the robot hockey goes home to the Robot Intelligence Lab.<\/p>\n ….and I finally got my face on the College Homepage… kind of.<\/p>\n Imperial staff and students can view all the original images featured in this post on the Imperial College London Asset Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Learn more about photography<\/strong><\/p>\n Watch this introduction to photography video course on Lynda.com\u00a0<\/a>(College users have free access to Lynda courses<\/a>)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The weekend in pictures.
