After obtaining my PhD at UCL in polymeric nanoparticles as drug delivery systems and nanoreactors, I joined Imperial College as a research associate in the Department of Chemistry in 2016.
I’m enjoying the academic environment at Imperial – my current work focuses on studying the interaction between nanomaterials and model biological systems in order to investigate any potential nano-toxicity. This project is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (SmartNanoTox).
I’m also increasingly active in scientific outreach, having exhibited with my colleagues at Imperial Festival 2018, as well as encouraging more women into STEM subjects and careers.”
