The surgery is located just by the top of the famous Shankill Road separating the loyalist and republican areas of the city. This is a photo of the adjacent peace wall (viewed from the Protestant side) that was built to quell some of the conflict during The Troubles. My GP was quite Protestant\/loyalist skewed but I have also included a photo of a practice on the other side of the wall which is very Catholic\/republican.
