{"id":3881,"date":"2017-11-21T13:54:13","date_gmt":"2017-11-21T13:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/fom\/?p=3881"},"modified":"2018-05-29T10:35:42","modified_gmt":"2018-05-29T09:35:42","slug":"ylenia-perone-awarded-registration-grant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/fom\/2017\/11\/21\/ylenia-perone-awarded-registration-grant\/","title":{"rendered":"Ylenia Perone awarded registration grant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ylenia Perone, clinician and PhD student has been awarded a registration grant from the Society for Endocrinology to attend the conference <a href=\"https:\/\/www.endocrinology.org\/events\/sfe-bes-conference\/sfe-bes-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SfE BES 2017<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Held in November in Harrogate, this annual conference brings together experts from both the clinical and scientific field working on endocrine diseases and hormone-dependent tumours.<\/p>\n<p>Ylenia is working on oestrogen receptor-positive breast cancer in <a href=\"http:\/\/cancer-epigenomics.com\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Luca Magnani\u2019s group<\/a> in the Department of Surgery and Cancer.
