leadership team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the restructuring of the FEO there has been a strengthening and simplifying of the leadership team, and there are now four senior managers reporting to me.\u00a0 An overview of their areas of responsibility is outlined below:<\/p>\n<h3>Lisa Carrier \u2013 Head of Technology Enhanced Education<\/h3>\n<p>Lisa is currently the E-learning Manager for the Department of Medicine and will be joining us at the beginning of May.\u00a0 Her team will support:<br \/>\nDevelopment and support of technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the delivery of education<br \/>\nAdvising on and developing technical solutions to support the management of education<br \/>\nLiaison with SIDs to expand the use of technology to enhance postgraduate education<br \/>\nAudio Visual and Lab technical support<br \/>\nTimetabling and room booking<\/p>\n<h3>Rebekah Fletcher \u2013 Head of School of Medicine Secretariat<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Rebekah\u2019s team will support:<\/li>\n<li>Quality and Governance (including forecasting and planning)<\/li>\n<li>Projects and Systems (including Sofia, our curriculum map, Fry, the assessment system and the Student Information Management System (SIMP) and the student database)<\/li>\n<li>Communications<\/li>\n<li>Admissions<\/li>\n<li>Welfare<\/li>\n<li>Student finance (including bursaries, scholarships and welfare payments)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Chris Harris \u2013 Head of Programme Management<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Chris\u2019s team will support:<\/li>\n<li>Curriculum and exams\/assessment<\/li>\n<li>Transition to foundation training<\/li>\n<li>Careers<\/li>\n<li>Student progression (including Fitness to Practice, discipline and mitigating circumstances)<\/li>\n<li>Student records (including production of transcripts and documentation for graduates)<\/li>\n<li>Electives (including funding)<\/li>\n<li>Clinical Education Finance and planning (SIFT and HEFCE)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Paul Ratcliffe \u2013 Deputy Director of Education Management<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Paul\u2019s team will support:<\/li>\n<li>LKC School of Medicine<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate, including the Health Sciences Academy<\/li>\n<li>Medical Education Research Unit (MERU)<\/li>\n<li>Major Educational innovations (including the new Medical Biosciences BSc)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are in the final stages of consultation with FEO staff and the new support teams will be finalised and announced shortly.\u00a0 During the transition period, there will continue to be management and administrative support across all areas.\u00a0 Should you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me or the relevant senior
