{"id":1992,"date":"2014-10-02T16:51:18","date_gmt":"2014-10-02T15:51:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www2.imperial.ac.uk\/fom\/?p=1992"},"modified":"2014-10-03T15:55:05","modified_gmt":"2014-10-03T14:55:05","slug":"call-for-workshop-ideas-for-the-faculty-teaching-forum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/fom\/2014\/10\/02\/call-for-workshop-ideas-for-the-faculty-teaching-forum\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for workshop ideas for the Faculty Teaching Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear all,<\/p>\n<p>You are probably aware that the faculty teaching forum will be held this year on<strong> Thursday 27 November\u00a0 12.45\u20135pm<\/strong> in the <a title=\"Glenister Lecture Theatre location map\" href=\"https:\/\/workspace.imperial.ac.uk\/campusinfo\/public\/charingxmap.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Glenister Lecture Theatre<\/strong><\/a> on the <strong>Charing Cross<\/strong>\u00a0campus.<\/p>\n<p>It is open to all staff who teach at Imperial and as ever promises to be a stimulating afternoon where we can learn together and enhance our knowledge of education. There is a theme of resilience and compassion and there will be an afternoon of talks and workshops together with a panel debate on<em><strong> \u201cHow do we promote resilience in our students?\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>We are keen to make it relevant to you, our teachers and have some ideas from the feedback received last year.<br \/>\nHowever we would like to give you the chance to contribute to the event by running a workshop for your colleagues on any topic \u2013 not necessarily related to the theme.
