{"id":1626,"date":"2014-04-29T12:37:38","date_gmt":"2014-04-29T11:37:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www2.imperial.ac.uk\/fom\/?p=1626"},"modified":"2018-05-29T10:37:34","modified_gmt":"2018-05-29T09:37:34","slug":"7-13-april-parkinsons-disease-awareness-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs-staging.imperial.ac.uk\/fom\/2014\/04\/29\/7-13-april-parkinsons-disease-awareness-week\/","title":{"rendered":"7-13 April &#8211; Parkinson&#8217;s Disease Awareness Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The week beginning 7 April was Parkinson&#8217;s Disease (PD) Awareness Week, which saw our PD Research team (Charing cross &amp; Hammersmith staff) working with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parkinsons.org.uk\/\">Parkinson&#8217;s UK<\/a> volunteers to promote awareness by setting up and manning stalls at Charing Cross.\u00a0This included a lot of information about PD research from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.michaeljfox.org\/\">The Michael J. Fox Foundation<\/a>,whose clinical trial studies we are running at Charing Cross. Michael J.
