This new Centre will support and organically develop this existing research with a strong alignment with the 2017 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imperial.ac.uk\/about\/leadership-and-strategy\/provost\/vice-provost-education\/learning-and-teaching-strategy\/\">Learning and Teaching Strategy<\/a>. This strategy requires us to take a rigorous, critical, evidenced-based approach to excellence in both STEMMB research and education; and actively contribute to relevant pedagogic research literature.<\/p>\n<p>The Centre for Higher Education Research and Scholarship will support existing pedagogic research and scholarship at Imperial College and aims to facilitate the further development of world class, STEMMB-focussed pedagogic research that will both underpin our educational practice and contribute to the global body of knowledge on active learning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are existing pockets of ongoing educational research and research interests distributed across College.
