The Cancer Research UK\u202fBridge to Academic Leadership\u202fprogramme returns this autumn, supporting postdocs\u00a0to\u00a0take the next steps toward becoming independent group leaders in cancer.<\/p>\n
The programme is open to\u202fnon-clinical postdocs\u202fbased at any UK institution, regardless of your funding source.<\/p>\n
Across a blend of online and in-person sessions,\u202fyou\u2019ll\u202fstrengthen your ability to\u202fgenerate\u202fand pitch your research\u202fideas,\u202fimprove\u202fyour grant-writing\u202fskills\u202fand learn how to lead and manage a research team effectively in an academic environment.<\/p>\n
Applications are particularly welcomed from researchers from ethnic minority backgrounds, women, non-binary\u00a0researchers\u00a0and researchers who are disabled or living with a\u00a0long\u2011term\u00a0condition.\u202fPlaces will be\u202fallocated\u202fon a competitive basis. Diversity information will be used to prioritise researchers who fall into groups underrepresented among our fellowship applicants.<\/p>\n
