Book a personalised 1:1 meeting with a CfAE coach to identify your most important areas for development and get targeted guidance to elevate your writing or speaking.<\/p>\n<p>You can either discuss a\u00a0sample of your research writing or prepared speech, or just come for advice on your writing or speaking in general.\u00a0You&#8217;re welcome to take advantage of these meetings throughout your time at Imperial and can usually book a couple each term.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the questions you might want to ask:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;m struggling to organise my points in this part \u2013 how can I make it clearer?<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m not sure what\u00a0information is\u00a0relevant for my audience here?<\/li>\n<li>My literature review reads like a shopping list \u2013 how do I create a narrative to hold it together?<\/li>\n<li>I feel I don&#8217;t sound \u2018professional\u2019 enough \u2013 how can I improve that?<\/li>\n<li>I\u2019m not sure how to speak with my own \u2018voice\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And here&#8217;s what some of our attendees have to say:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Already after yesterday\u2019s meeting I feel much more confident and like I\u00a0suddenly know\u00a0what I am doing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I just wanted to say a big, big thank you for the advice you gave me in our meeting.
