The Scheme, which was first established in 2003, is composed of a network of staff who have volunteered to take on the role of Harassment Support Contact. \u00a0The Contacts have undertaken comprehensive training and will work with staff to:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Explore the options available to them through formal and informal College procedures, specifically in respect of harassment and bullying;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Consider ideas and strategies to effect good working relationships, especially where there is the potential that a relationship will break down;<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Provide additional support as required, such as mentoring or coaching<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www3.imperial.ac.uk\/hr\/ourservices\/azsearch\/harassmentsupportcontacts\" target=\"_blank\">Harassment Support Contacts can be approached directly using the details here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, <a href=\"http:\/\/www3.imperial.ac.uk\/hr\/contactus\/equality\" target=\"_blank\">staff should contact the Equalities Unit<\/a> who can organise a confidential referral<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Confidential support is available for staff affected by bullying or harassment in the workplace from Imperial\u2019s Harassment Support Contact Scheme, which has recently been relaunched.
